By |2024-01-29T17:53:11-04:00January 30, 2024|Entertainment|Comments Off on Squeeze Studios unveiled their new 2024 showreel

Squeeze Studios provides world-class 3D animation services to creators and producers of animated films, TV series, commercials, video games (trailers and cinematics) and theme parks content. Squeeze specializes in high-quality CG animation, creating character animations with a strong personality. The studio stands out for its ability to provide solid technical execution, coupled with a high level of artistic performance, thanks to its experienced and talented team. Squeeze Studios, one of the few great things that come out from Canada (I'm joking of course, there's also Ryan Reynolds and Keanu Reeves) just released their 2024 showreel (if you don't know what showreel is, that's basically a short video showcasing their previous animation work in films & other media).

Keek is back

By |2024-01-29T16:39:49-04:00January 29, 2024|Communication|Comments Off on Keek is back

I reviewed Keek for Android in 2015 when it first launched (wow, can't believe it's been 9 years already). Anyway, the app was launched in 2011 and was available on the appstores until sometime after 2016 - not sure exactly when it went down, but it was probably around 2017. I felt bad, because I liked their idea of short videos - somehow they had the great idea that Tiktok was built on, but way before they launched. Anyway, guess what? I've recently received an email from them saying that Keek is back, and according to their announcement it's better than ever! If you've missed the good old days of short and sweet video sharing, you should definitely try the revamped Keek app.

G2 reviews for money, fake or real?

By |2024-01-26T18:33:37-04:00January 26, 2024|News, Other|Comments Off on G2 reviews for money, fake or real?

G2.com is a review site that focuses on publishing user reviews for business software. It’s pretty much more or less similar to Capterra, Gartner, SourceForge and a dozen others. Much like Capterra, they’ve obviously got an incentivized review program, where they pay users to post reviews about the software listed on […]

FreeCash Offers: Scam and Real offers for Android

By |2024-01-19T17:30:46-04:00January 19, 2024|Games|Comments Off on FreeCash Offers: Scam and Real offers for Android

So is FreeCash a site that you can trust? After using it for almost 3 months I can say that it is trusted, in the sense that they do send your reward coins and also that they allow you to cash out. According to their on site, FreeCash has paid out nearly $25 million to its members since its inception and has a 4.6-star rating on Trustpilot. They were previously known as Freeskins.com but changed names in 2021 (what's more catchy than "Free Cash").

Google Play Ads – how low can they go

By |2024-01-17T08:37:59-04:00January 17, 2024|Technology|Comments Off on Google Play Ads – how low can they go

I gave up Chrome on Android and instead started using Firefox. Why? Because Firefox for Android allows you to add extensions to it, and you can easily add uBlock Origin. This way if you have an Android phone you can block ads on it with a simple tap. On Chrome for Android is more difficult to block ads, so giving up was the easiest solution here.

Duolingo free kinda’ sucks

By |2023-12-15T18:10:09-04:00December 15, 2023|Education|Comments Off on Duolingo free kinda’ sucks

I became a Duolingo Free user in 2015. Actually back then there wasn't even a paid option, it was truly free. Back then I started learning German, and even if I didn't advance too much, I could say that it helped me learn some basics. Don't ask me why though, but after a few months I stopped playing with it and never picked it up again until 2023. Boy, did it change a lot in the past 7 years. I wish I'd say it was a good change, but unfortunately I consider Duolingo Free sucks (the 2023 version that is) in comparison with the app I toyed around with in 2016.

The Bitcoin Scam: I RECORDED YOU!

By |2023-11-09T15:25:46-04:00November 9, 2023|Security|Comments Off on The Bitcoin Scam: I RECORDED YOU!

I rarely check my Junk folder, so I'm not up to date with the latest scam attempts. However, I did check it today and noticed a subject that caught my attention: "I RECORDED YOU". I immediately realized it's a crypto scam attempt, though I wanted to share it just to make anyone aware that this is truly a scam and to remove it as soon as possible.

Ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube – bypass solutions

By |2023-10-20T14:32:10-04:00October 20, 2023|News|Comments Off on Ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube – bypass solutions

Anyway, on a totally unrelated note, Google recently changed its extension system with an update named Manifest V3, supposedly to improve security, performance, and privacy. But, and this is a big but, with this update it also introduced a limit on how extensions can modify websites and requests. This limitation affects ad blocker extensions that need to filter out ads and trackers on websites such as YouTube. Yes, you read that correctly. Google basically broke ad blockers, but not out of greed, because they only made like $30 billion in profit last year. No, it was for the good of the users ...

Weatherback: Live weather wallpaper with stunning effects

By |2023-10-11T16:52:34-04:00October 11, 2023|Other, Travel & Local|Comments Off on Weatherback: Live weather wallpaper with stunning effects

Weatherback is not your regular weather app. Meaning you won't see a widget on your home screen that shows it's XX degrees and the chances of rain/other precipitations or any other boring numbers. Weatherback cleverly tells you how the weather will be in a visually pleasing, almost senzorial way. It is a live wallpaper enhancement with stunning weather effects.
