A while back I started researching crypto mining apps for Android and CryptoTab was the first one I've started toying with. It's been a few weeks and I already got the huge amount of... $1 :). Hey, at least it's money I'm bringing in, not giving out. Anyway, I almost forgot about them but I received today news that they're organizing a Halloween competition where you can win in the end crypto by hunting for candies. You can enter the competition here: CryptoTab Halloween competition.
Google is famous for its doodles, and this Halloween it's a playable game. The game became available on October 30th, 2024. It celebrates Halloween 2024 but not with an innovative game idea, instead it's the 3rd edition of the Magic Cat Academy. You play as Momo the cat and you have to battle ghostly enemies up into the stratosphere.
Pets Go Modded it's a modified version of the Pets Go game which is already a spinoff for Pet Simulator so it's kind of like Inception but within games. A spinoff within a spinoff within a game. If you like Pets GO, you'll also like the modded version since it has more luck added to it. As with any other game, a lot of users are looking for a way to get stuff for free. The best part is that Pets GO Modded does have Codes that you can redeem and get free stuff in the game.
Google signed a deal with Disney+ and Hulu that allows any user that has accumulated enough Google Play points to sign-up for free for their streaming services (with ads though). It wasn't possible until now but you can redeem Google Play Points for Disney+ and Hulu if you are an Android user and got enough reward points.
To my amazement Pokémon GO is still popular. I thought the initial appeal would wear down, but just like The Sims it's still going on strong. To be honest, unlike other Android games that you just play sitting on your couch, with Pokemon GO at least you do some actual physical activity. Since Halloween is right around the corner, they've announced a dedicated event called the Harvest Festival Event. It’s packed with opportunities to catch, evolve, and maybe even snag that rare Shiny Smoliv! The event starts on Thursday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m. and lasts until Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. So, what does the Pokemon GO Halloween event comes up with?
Halloween is almost here, and Roblox released a new themed event called The Haunt event! From October 24 to November 1, 2024, players can dive into an exciting Halloween adventure filled with costumes, competitions, and daily surprises. You can participate in Roblox' The Haunt event from your Android device but just as well from any other platform you have Roblox installed on.
Halloween is the time of the year when a lot of popular game studios launch update packs for their popular mobile games in Halloween style. It's the case with the following 2 games I've already had fun with. Exploding Kittens 2 & Hidden in My Paradise.
I updated my Duolingo app for Android this month (October 2024) and then it crashed. Thing is, it didn't show any errors or anything, I would tap on Duolingo, the Duo logo would show up and then a quick yellow window before closing by itself. In a split of a second, the Duolingo app would close as soon as opening it.
Oh man, Google app developers just can't get a break. It's not enough that there are a gazillion apps out there already and the competition is fierce for new apps, but now it just became even more difficult to launch a new app on Google Play. Google thought that the best way to help developers that create a new dev account on Google Play is to force them on having 20 testers test the app for 14 days prior to launch.
