Halloween is almost here, and Roblox released a new themed event called The Haunt event! From October 24 to November 1, 2024, players can dive into an exciting Halloween adventure filled with costumes, competitions, and daily surprises. You can participate in Roblox’ The Haunt event from your Android device but just as well from any other platform you have Roblox installed on.

How to Complete The Haunt Event

Start by heading to The Haunt event hub, where the Halloween magic begins. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to complete this Halloween event:

Visit The Haunt event hub. Simply enter the main hub mentioned above where you’ll find everything needed to start.
Enter the costume contest. Dress up your avatar and take screenshots of your Halloween outfit from the hub or other participating experiences. Submit your best shots for a chance to win in the official costume contest.
Vote daily. Cast your votes in the costume contest each day to earn free items and support other players (the list of available items is mentioned below).
Unlock new areas. A new section of the hub will be revealed daily, so explore to collect exclusive in-hub items.
Stick around for the grand finale. Don’t miss the final day for a big reveal and exclusive rewards!

How the costume contest works

The Halloween costume contest in Roblox is one of the event’s most exciting parts as you can win free items! Here’s how you can enter and win:

Capture the perfect look. Get creative and dress your avatar to fit one of five categories: Scary, Creatures, Cute, Villains, or Orange. Snap some screenshots in the hub or participating experiences.
Submit your costume. Enter your screenshots into the appropriate category for your chosen theme.
Vote (and get voted for). Show support by voting in all categories, and rally votes for your own entry by sharing it with friends/family.
Advance and earn prizes:
- if you’re voted in the top 50% in any category: Earn a runner-up prize in the first round.
- if you’re voted in the top 10% in any category: Win a category prize and move forward to the second round to compete for the best overall title.
- if you’re voted in the top 10% in the final round: Receive an exclusive grand prize and bragging rights!

The Golem of Decay – Vote 5 times in the Creatures category to get it
Dark Ravens Shoulder – Vote 5 times in the Cute category to get it
Void Vampire’s Hat Hat – Vote 5 times in the Villains category to get it
Vampire Kitty Shoulder – Vote 5 times in the Orange category to get it
Malevolent Abomination Egg Parasite – Vote 5 times in the Scary category to get it
Orange Ghost Horns – Submit a capture
Cursed Camera – Submit captures in 3 categories
Sinister Zombie Teddy Bear – Make it to the top 50% in any category
Layered Halloween Necklace – Make it to the top 10% in any category
Unknown item – Make it to the top 10% in the second round of voting (Top 10% from each categories get to participate)
Pure Light Lantern that emits dim blue light – Randomly found while digging out the graves inside the Graveyard (the area entrance is behind the mansion; pick up a shovel on the way in)
