What are Magic Cores in MLBB
In Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), the Magic Core is an in-game currency used in the Magic Wheel feature. Players accumulate Magic Cores primarily by participating in Magic Wheel draws by actually playing the Mobile Legends game. These Magic Cores tokens can then be exchanged for exclusive rewards, including highly sought-after Legendary Skins, which come with unique animations and effects.
The system ensures a guaranteed reward: for every 200 Magic Cores collected, players can redeem one Legendary Skin from the Magic Shop. Magic Cores are part of a prize pool that also includes other items like permanent heroes, skins, Magic Dust, and tokens, with Magic Cores having a 20% drop rate per draw. Players can obtain Magic Wheel draw resources, such as Crystals of Aurora, through in-game events or purchases. Patience and strategic use of these resources allow players to gradually save up for major rewards without relying solely on luck.
The MLrewards.com SCAM
Since Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is such a big hit and millions of players are on it, obviously scams started popping up. One such scam is advertised by MLrewards.com. A lot of people fall for their fake advertised app. If you visit their official website this is what you see:
First scam alert on mlrewards.com is the fact that the website looks like a travel back in time. Next, they supposedly offer downloads of an Android app called Magic Core MLBB APK, version 11.6.9. Supposedly this app will give you Magic Cores in Mobile Legends without you doing anything. Right. Another app they mention on the website is MLBB Magic Core Giveaway for each they offer an early access. When you try to click on the Download button you get a pop-up that says it’s only for Members Only with a Sign-up button.
Here’s where the scam on mlrewards.com reveals itself. No matter what link you click on their website, they all point to ugroocuw.net. The website ugroocuw.net is unsafe and classified as high-risk. In fact my antivirus blocks it, uBlock Origin also blocks it. ugroocuw.net is associated with malicious behavior, including phishing, malware, and adware, which can infect devices and disrupt functionality. Basically it’s a redirect that will show you in the best case scenario an ad, but those ads can also contain malware, deceptive pop-ups and advertisements that may promote dubious programs or even spyware. Visiting this site could expose your device to significant security risks, including unauthorized data collection and potential financial loss.
So my strong advice is to understand that mlrewards.com is a scam and that you shouldn’t click or interact in any way with the links on their website that point to ugroocuw.net and take protective steps if you’ve done it already, such as running an antivirus scan and resetting your browser to its default settings.
What is MLBB Magic Core APK?
Also, stop searching for MLBB Magic Core APK, as that Android app is not available anymore (for a long time now). MLBB Magic Core APK, also known as Mobile Legends Magic Core, was an alternative version of the legendary mobile MOBA. It was similar to the original game, although it had some specific elements, such as a unique energy bar and a redesigned ability activation panel. The mechanics of MLBB Magic Core APK were very similar to those of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, albeit with some appreciable differences in the gameplay. Your mission was to participate in very dynamic and action-packed 5v5 battles and take advantage of the special features that this alternative version provides. But this app was long removed and you won’t find it anymore, and in fact most sites that promise you can download it, are actually fake and try to trick you into clicking on ads.
magiccore.me – another scam
Yes, another scam site is magiccore.me, in fact its interface looks very similar to mlrewards.com so stay away from both. The only difference is that they’re spamming Google better, they’ve added on that page I think at least 100+ seo keywords all related to Magic Core (i.e. Mobile Legends magic core spells, Mobile Legends magic core heroes, Mobile Legends magic core abilities, Mobile Legends magic core guide, Mobile Legends magic core gameplay guide, Mobile Legends magic core strategy guide, Mobile Legends magic core heroes list, Mobile Legends magic core tactics guide, Mobile Legends magic core meta guide, Mobile Legends magic core mastery guide, Mobile Legends magic core arena guide, …). Why is this site still popular, is it because at some point in the past they truly had a working cheat for ML magic core? Don’t know, just stay out of it, look how spammy the SEO keyword list looks like:
How to stay safe from ML Rewards types of scam in the future
Many of these dubious websites lure Mobile Legends players by promising:
- Free Magic Core without spending Diamonds or Crystals of Aurora. So basically getting something without spending money or time.
- Android apps or generators that supposedly hack the Mobile Legends system and give you free rewards.
- Exclusive rewards that seem too good to be true, no matter how gullible you are.
In exchange for these fake rewards, these sites and apps ask you to complete surveys, download apps, or provide personal information. However, this is the reality behind the scam and what could happen:
- No connection to Mobile Legends – These sites and apps are not affiliated with Moonton, the official developer of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Magic Core can only be earned through legitimate in-game methods like the Magic Wheel and only in Mobile Legends, not outside of it.
- Ad traps and malware – Many of these sites function as ad traps, forcing users to view ads repeatedly without delivering any real rewards. Worse, some apps could install malware, compromise your data, or harm your device. It’s the case of mlrewards.com, as all their links point to ugroocuw.net which is basically a very unsafe ad network.
- Mobile Legends account theft risk – A common tactic involves asking users to log in with their Mobile Legends credentials. Sharing your account details with untrusted sources puts you at risk of losing your account and instead of gaining Magic Cores for free, you’ll lose access to your account.
So if you visit a website that’s not the official Mobile Legends one and you see unrealistic promises like “Unlimited Magic Core” or “Hack the Magic Wheel”, close it and move on as it’s a scam. You should also be suspicious of URLs claiming to give access to an APK download that’s not hosted on Google Play. You’ll most likely be require to share personal information, login credentials, or payment details which will lead to real money loss in the worst case scenario, or seeing a ton of ads/pop-ups.
Here’s a few tips to stay safe from scams such as MLrewards.com in the future:
- Stick to official channels – Only use in-game features to acquire Diamonds or Crystals of Aurora.
- Avoid suspicious APK downloads – Don’t download apps from unverified sources or links provided by unknown websites.
- Use strong security practices – Enable two-factor authentication for your Mobile Legends account and never share your login details.
- Report suspicious websites – If you encounter a site or app claiming to offer free Magic Core, report it to Moonton and cybersecurity services to help others avoid falling victim.
